Shen Yue

Shen Yue is a Chinese actress, singer, and model. In 2017, she was discovered when a photographer posted her photo online where she was selected for the reality show “Summer Sweetie”, a broadcast by Hunan Broadcasting System. Shen Yue made her acting debut in the Chinese television series “Autumn Harvest Uprising” and proceeded to play a supporting role in the science fiction comedy television series “Let’s Shake It”. Shen Yue rose to fame with her role as Chen Xiaoxi in the campus romance drama “A Love So Beautiful”, based on the novel To Our Pure Little Beauty by Zhao Gangan, catapulting her to fame in China and internationally. 
In 2018, Shen Yue portrayed the female lead Dong Shancai in the television series “Meteor Garden”, based on the Japanese shōjo manga series “Boys Over Flowers” (花より男子, Hana Yori Dango) written by Yoko Kamio. For this role portrayal, she won the 2018 Baidu Entertainment Award for Character of the Year. Later that year, Shen Yue joined the cast of the Chinese variety show “The Inn 2”. 
Shen Yue graduated from Hunan Normal University in 2018, majoring in Journalism and Communications. 
In 2019, she performed in the annual CCTV Spring Festival Gala sketch “Office’s Story (办公室的故事)” alongside veteran artists. Later that year, Shen Yue starred in the television series “Another Me” based on the film “Soul Mate” earning her a nomination for Best Actress in the Golden Bud – The Fourth Network Film And Television Festival. 

In 2020, Shen Yue stared in the romance comedy-drama “Count Your Lucky Stars” alongside veteran actor Jerry Yan, in the drama “Together”, a fight against the new coronavirus epidemic in mainland China, and in the drama “Sink or Swim”. 
In 2021, she debuted in the movie “The Yin Yang Master”. Shen Yue will also star along with Jasper Liu in the romantic comedy-drama “Use For My Talent”, and in the modern-day romance-drama “Be Yourself”.
